Northern Community Events Group is hiring for 8-week summer contract positions supporting the planning, marketing, setup, and delivery of local festivals and community events.

Festival Organizer $18/hr · 35 hours/week

Event Coordinator $18/hr · 35 hours/week

Event Marketing Specialist $20/hr · 35 hours/week

These roles are ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable working with the public, and excited to help create memorable community events.

These positions are supported by Canada Summer Jobs. To be eligible, applicants must be 15 to 30 years old at the start of employment, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person/refugee, have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment, and be legally entitled to work in Canada. International students are not eligible under Canada Summer Jobs.
